Verte is a major turning point for us, and our boldest release to date. Entirely recorded, produced and mixed by ourselves, these 3 tracks make heavier use of synthesizers, glitches and effects in a record that steers away from our past sound and embraces many of our more left-field influences, such as seminal electronica act Telefon Tel Aviv and Icelandic post-rock heroes Sigur Rós.

Verte’s main themes are about self-discovery, belonging and the fluidity of time. “Verte” means “to Pour” or “to Spill” in Portuguese, and reflects what this release is all about: for over 2 years we’ve been pouring ourselves, our influences and our insecurities in these songs, making up our most personal record yet.

Verte’s artwork is also heavily inspired by these themes of fluidity, and was conceived to be as equally important as its music. For its physical release, we’ve decided to release it as a limited-edition booklet containing all of the artwork pieces created for each track, instead of more conventional formats such as CD. Buyers of the Verte booklet receive download codes for the EP and additional content as well.
